Erasmus MC is the largest and most versatile of the eight university medical centers in the Netherlands. Erasmus MC wants to further extend its international reputation and become one of the twenty best medical institutes in the world by 2013.
The organization consists of over fifty departments. Each department contributes to Erasmus MC’s three core tasks:

Our strategic vision
Outstanding, dedicated patient care, innovative and groundbreaking medical research, and excellent, highly rated medical education are the objectives of Strategic Direction ’013, our strategic vision. Erasmus MC wants to further extend its reputation and become one of the best medical institutes in the world by 2013.
The ‘Patient-centered care’ campaign epitomizes this Strategic Direction ’013 objective. The campaign was also launched to encourage discussions with patients and staff in order to optimize the care and services provided by Erasmus MC.
